Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest

Visiting Victoria Island and the Arrayanes Forest is one of the most traditional excursions in Bariloche. Beautiful sailing followed by hikes and the best views.

After an hour of sailing, departing from Puerto Pañuelo on the Llao Llao Peninsula, we arrived at the Quetrihue Peninsula, the seat of the Arrayanes Forest, located in the northeast of Lake Nahuel Huapi.
The Arrayan (Quetrihue in the Mapuche language) is a saffron shrub with white flowers. In this place, it takes the wingspan of a “tree” to form a Forest.
Then we sail to Puerto Anchorena, Isla Victoria, where it is possible to enjoy native flora. Walking along the trails that lead to Playa del Toro, to discover there the rock paintings made by native peoples who live in this area. All accompanied by the National Park Guides.

Bariloche is waiting for you!
